Question 1

What is DuesKite for?

Accepted Answer

DuesKite is a workspace for US volunteer HOA boards that want to keep their association setup and resident roster information organized. It is intended to support the recurring administrative work around assessments without implying that payment processing or resident communications are active in this app today.

Question 2

What can a signed-in board user save in DuesKite today?

Accepted Answer

A signed-in board user can save the association name and address, the recurring assessment amount and due date, and a resident roster with each resident’s name, unit, address, and email address. These are setup and roster details for the board’s workspace; they are not payment records.

Question 3

Can a board update its saved setup and resident roster?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The saved board setup can be updated from the private board workspace after signing in. Updates apply to the association details, assessment information, and resident roster fields currently supported by the workspace.

Question 4

Does DuesKite keep a payment ledger or paid and unpaid status?

Accepted Answer

No verified payment ledger is currently exposed in this DuesKite workspace. It keeps board setup and roster information available to the board, but it does not currently provide paid or unpaid status, transaction history, or a collection ledger. A saved setup record is not proof of payment.

Question 5

Does DuesKite provide payment receipts or collection records?

Accepted Answer

No verified payment receipt flow or payment transaction record is currently available in this app. Boards should keep using their existing records and association processes for payment history, receipts, and reconciliation.

Question 6

Does DuesKite send automated resident payment reminders?

Accepted Answer

Automated resident reminders are not a verified available DuesKite workflow in this app. DuesKite has an installed email transport, but that transport is not evidence that reminders are configured or delivered. Boards should use their existing follow-up process until a reminder feature is available.

Question 7

Can residents pay their HOA dues through DuesKite?

Accepted Answer

No verified DuesKite checkout or payment processor is present in this app. Residents should continue using the association’s existing payment method rather than treating the DuesKite setup workspace as a way to submit payment.

Question 8

Does DuesKite send payment confirmations or resident payment emails?

Accepted Answer

DuesKite does not currently provide a verified payment confirmation or receipt flow, and it does not provide a verified resident payment email flow. Any payment confirmation should come through the association’s existing payment method and process.
